PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create and provide a new and advanced method for luring termite and a termite-luring receptacle for the method, freed from any conventional drawbacks or problems on termite control against trees and workpieces.;SOLUTION: The termite-luring receptacle includes a cylindrical part 2 and a conical part 3. The flank of the cylindrical part 2 is furnished with helical or oblique notched holes 5 or oblong notched holes 6 of a shape and a size for termite to enter the cylindrical part 2. Similarly, the conical part 3 connected with the cylindrical part 2 downward is also furnished with helical or oblique notched holes 5 or oblong notched holes 6 of a size for termite to be passable therethrough. The butted site between the cylindrical part 2 and the conical part 3 is provided with a luring bait-attaching part 7. Besides, the top of the cylindrical part 2 is fixed with a lid engagement element 20 to be engaged with a locking mechanism-bearing lid, wherein the element 20 is provided with hooking grooves 12 and hydro-extractive projections 18 for engaging the lid.
