Bipolar plate for e.g. proton exchange membrane type fuel cell, has channel constituted by conduit of constant section and arranged such that flow of fluid circulates in downward direction when plate is in vertical direction using force
The plate (10) has a set of identical fluid circulation channels (1-9) parallel to a lateral edge (10b) of the plate. The channels are mounted in a consecutive manner between them, and reactive fluid circulates in the channels. Each channel is constituted by a rectilinear conduit of constant section extending from an upper edge (10a) of the plate vertically towards the bottom to a lower edge (10c) of the plate and is arranged such that the flow of the fluid circulates in a downward direction when the plate is in a vertical direction using gravity force acting vertically towards the bottom.
