The device has a steering system modeled based on a power assisted buckle system. The buckle system has a feedback gain which is a function of reduction ratio of steering of a vehicle, tire stiffness, and castor angle of the wheels (1). The castor angle of the wheels varies at given speed, with respect to the reduction ratio of the steering of the vehicle for a given constant feedback gain. A sensor block provides measurements of the speed of the vehicle in real-time and angle of a steering wheel (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling castor angle of a wheel of a vehicle.
