Power supply device for motor vehicle, has commutator passing between one state in which supply unit is supplied by electrical network and battery is recharged by energy source, and in another state in which unit is supplied by battery
The device has a rechargeable battery (11), and a commutator (12) passing between a state in which a high power supply unit is directly supplied by an electrical network and the battery is recharged by a main electric energy source, and in another state in which the high power supply unit is supplied by the battery. The power supplied during the latter state is greater than the power supplied during the former state. A control block (13)controls the instant passage of the commutator from the former state to the latter state.
