Motor vehicle functional device, has elastic return unit acting directly on displaceable unit for exerting its elastic return function to displace displaceable unit towards safety position when supplied power is lost by power failure
The device has a unit (u1) e.g. clutch, with an elastic return unit (RE) for displacing a displaceable unit (O) e.g. valve gate. A driving motor (1) and a control device (4) of a unit (u2) e.g. actuator, are supplied by a power supply source (5), such that a connection (3) interrupts a coupling between a reducer (2) and the unit (u1) in absence of power supply. The elastic unit acts directly on the displaceable unit for exerting its elastic return function to displace the displaceable unit towards a safety position (p1) if the power supplied by a power supply source is lost by power failure.
