Gear box for low voltage electric traction chain of e.g. industrial truck, has input shaft supporting idle pinions of speed gears, and sliding gear with ring gears engaging with jaw clutching rings integrated to adjacent face of pinion
The gearbox has an input shaft (24) connected in rotation to an output shaft (12) of an electric motor (10) and supporting two idle pinions (31, 33) of small and large speed gears (28, 30). An output shaft (26) supports terminal pinions (32, 34) of the gears. The gears are activated selectively by a sliding gear (38) driven in rotation by the input shaft and controlled manually by a lever (52). The sliding gear comprises two ring gears (39, 41) engaging with jaw clutching rings (40, 42) integrated to an adjacent face of the corresponding idle pinion.
