A mechanism for maneuvering self-focusing (SF) zoom lenses comprises a base unit (10); a SF unit (20) and a zoom unit (30), each connected with a trajectory bar (28, 38); a cam forming plate unit (40) having supporting, mounting and attaching plate and SF and zoom trajectory channels (45, 46) receiving the bars; and a stepped motor unit (5), connected with a central hole in the attaching plate, for displacing the cam forming plate unit. A mechanism for maneuvering self-focusing (SF) zoom lenses comprises a base unit (10), forming a cavity; a SF unit (20) and a zoom unit (30), each located in the base unit and connected with a respective trajectory bar (28, 38); a cam forming plate unit (40), connected with the SF and zoom units and having a supporting plate (41) in the lower part, a mounting plate extending from the support plate, an attaching plate connected with one side of the mounting plate and SF and zoom trajectory channels (45, 46) receiving the corresponding trajectory bars; and a stepped motor unit (5), connected with a central hole in the attaching plate, for causing displacement of the cam forming plate unit.
