Turbo-compressor fixing and indexing device for exhaust manifold of heat engine, has seal with orifice receiving screw, where screw has end emerging at zone having heat less than heat of interface between turbo-compressor and manifold
The device has mounting plates (3, 9) fixed with respect to a turbo-compressor (2) and an exhaust manifold (1), respectively. The plate (3) has a groove (7) traversed by a screw (8) whose end emerges at a zone having heat less than heat of an interface between the turbo-compressor and the manifold. An interfacial seal (26) e.g. stainless steel sheet, has an orifice (28) for receiving the screw, where the orifice temporarily maintains the screw with respect to the seal.
