Motor vehicle seat e.g. bucket seat, element, has inflatable cushion deployment system with detonator, and inflatable cushion with zone connecting cushion with gas generator and pockets, where system and cushion are situated in rigid shell
The seat element has a rigid plastic shell (1) and a safety device. The device has inflatable cushions (20) and an inflatable cushion deployment system (15) which has a detonator integrated with the shell and an inflation gas generator. The cushion has a connecting zone (25) for connecting the cushion with the generator and pockets (22) to be deployed by inflation. The system and the cushion are situated in the shell. An independent claim is also included for a backrest of a motor vehicle seat comprising seat element.
