Electric line/conductor open electric current measuring device for e.g. energy metering device, has electric winding removable relative to magnetic yoke with constant air gap, where radial surfaces of winding are opposite to yoke branches
The device has a magnetic yoke (3) forming an open magnetic circuit of a current transformer whose primary and secondary circuits are, respectively formed by an electric line or conductor (2) and an electric winding (4). The yoke and winding are separable to place the device in an open or closed state. The winding is removable relative to the magnetic circuit and wound on a non-magnetic armature. The magnetic circuit has an air gap constant irrespective of the positioning of the winding. Respective radial surfaces at two ends of the winding are opposite to branches of the yoke. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a multipolar current sensor comprising a current measuring device (b) a tripolar current sensor comprising a current measuring device.
