Car floor mat has backing layer of warp-knitted textile fabric made of synthetic yarns affixed to pile fabric on its upper surface, and loops extending from surface of backing layer to engage-disengage with carpeted surface
A backing layer (1) has several loops extending outwardly from its surface to repeatedly engage-disengage with a carpeted surface (15). A bonding layer (8) affixes the backing layer to a pile fabric (6) on an upper surface of the mat (5). The backing layer has a warp-knitted textile fabric made of synthetic yarns. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) use of textile fabric to form floor mat; and (2) car.
