The unit has control parts (3, 5) rotatably mounted around a rotation axis (30), where the part (3) moves in rotation with respect to the part (5), where a passage section for a hydraulic liquid is modified by torsion of the part (3), with respect to the part (5). A hydraulic reaction device has balls (21) stressed by pressure and movably guided, by cylindrical borings (22), along a direction of movement. The direction of movement of the balls (21) does not cut the axis. The balls are moved outside and cooperate with active surfaces (28) formed on the outer circumference of the part (5).
