PURPOSE: A beta-catenin oligonucleotide microchip and a method for detecting beta-catenin mutations using the same are provided, thereby improving the time, costs and accuracy for detecting beta-catenin mutations by using oligonucleotides arrayed on the surface of a small solid substrate. CONSTITUTION: The beta-catenin oligonucleotide microchip is prepared by arraying oligonucleotides capable of detecting mutations generated at the codon sites, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 41, 45 and 48 where the mutations of beta-catenin gene are concentrated on the surface of the solid substrate, wherein the oligonucleotides comprise 9 oligonucleotides for detecting mutations for each codon of 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 41, 45 and 48, an oligonucleotide for detecting deletion mutation in an open reading frame; and a wild type oligonucleotide for detecting normal nucleotide sequence. The method for manufacturing the beta-catenin oligonucleotide microchip comprises the steps of: (1) adding oligonucleotides into a spotting solution and spotting the mixture on a well plate; (2) arraying the oligonucleotides on the surface of a solid substrate; (3) storing the substrate at room temperature to fix the oligonucleotides and washing the substrate; (4) inserting the substrate into the boiled water and transferring the substrate into a sodium borohydride solution; and (5) washing and drying the substrate.
