The mobile phone has an offset retaining channel (9) formed in an oblong, flat housing (1) in a longitudinal direction (x) of the housing lateral to a longitudinal medium, where a pen (7) is stowable in the retaining channel. The retaining channel is arranged on a right side in the housing when the mobile phone is observed from a front side. The pen is held removably in the retaining channel in a frictional fit connection. The retaining channel is spaced opposite an adjacent sidewall (25) of the housing by a gap.
