Information technology network e.g. LAN, monitoring device, has processor detecting monitoring conditions changed by removal and/or addition of network units for alarming persons and/or releasing security functions
The device has a monitoring unit provided at light emitting diodes (LEDs), which are provided at each RJ45 port of network-switches for static function signalization. A processor detects monitoring conditions of the LEDs. The monitoring conditions are detected and stored during existence of provided network units. The monitoring conditions are changed by removal and/or addition of the network units for alarming persons and/or releasing security functions.
