Parking facility (1) has guidance (15,16) of the elevator (7), which after the setting up of the support surface, forms a horizontal, bay-side swivel axis running transverse to the displacement direction. The swivel-axis is defined by the bearing position of the guidance of the elevator on the support surface. Parking facility has a control (23) swiveling the guidance of the elevator over a drive around the swivel axis of the parking bay-side, until the guidance of the elevator is horizontal.
