Device for measuring flow velocity in a pipeline of a solar station has a measurement body arranged in a measurement section so that it is moved by the flow being measured. The body comprises a paddle wheel (3) with at least an attached encoder the signals of which are read by a signal arranged outside the measurement section so that it can read the signals transmitted through a section of the body (6) that is transparent to the signals. The section could be in the form of a plastic window.
