The device for the collecting of cigarette smoke comprises a holding mechanism for attaching the device on one end of a cigarette, and a filter (1) which is fastened on the holding mechanism and is equipped to absorb the smoke of a burning cigarette. The filter is basically in the shape of a sphere, and is fastened by means of a hinge mechanism (2). The holding mechanism includes a movement device by which the holding mechanism is moved by a heat source.
