Device for measuring the energy metabolism of living tissue by laser spectroscopy comprises a pulsed laser and an optoelectronic unit with a direct current supply, each screened from interfering radiation, where the optoelectronic unit comprises optical detectors, each with an optical filter and a pulse amplifier, and an analog/digital converter. The laser and optoelectronic unit are connected to a measuring probe through disconnectable interfaces and the optoelectronic unit is connected to an analysis and display unit through a disconnectable interface.
