Fan used as a radial fan in industrial applications comprises sound-damping units arranged in a region of the running wheel side facing away from the inlet region and an inlet nozzle located in the inlet region
Fan (10) comprises sound-damping units arranged in a region of the running wheel side facing away from the inlet region and an inlet nozzle located in the inlet region and/or in the pressure chamber (20) of the fan and/or a space connected to the pressure chamber of the fan. Preferred Features: The inlet nozzle has a section with a diameter which decreases in the inflow direction and the running wheel (30) has a section with a diameter which increases in the inflow direction. The sound-damping units are arranged between the above sections of the inlet nozzle and the running wheel.
