The device has three parallely arranged shelves (3), which are connected with a tube shaped column heading panel (2) by loops. The panel is detached from the shelves by pulling the loops to fold the shelves. Documents are arranged and stored in transparent plastic coverings in each shelf, in which header portion of the documents protrudes out from an upper side edge of the shelf such that information in the header portion is visible.
