Embroidery sewing machine, has Y-direction drive mechanism including elongated arm accommodated in cutout portion of bed, where Y-direction drive mechanism moves work holder in Y-direction
The machine has a machine body including a base with a bed (90) having a front side (92). An X-direction drive mechanism is arranged in the base to move a work holder in X-direction. A Y-direction drive mechanism includes an elongated arm which is accommodated in a cutout portion formed at the bed. The Y-direction drive mechanism carries the work holder and moves the work holder in Y-direction. The Y-direction drive mechanism includes an upper side that extends in a same plane with an upper side of the bed.
