The device for the representation of picture information (2) has a first display unit (1) with a first screen (3), a first control unit (5), a first drive unit (4) in a mechanical interaction with the first screen for its movement, and a position sensor (9) connected to the control unit to determine an actual position of the first screen, wherein the first control unit has means to calculate the picture information to be displayed from at least one actual basic picture, taking into account actual picture change parameters and also actual position of the first screen.
