Cable winder for e.g. telephone cable, has height adjustment mechanism comprising brake mechanism coupled with winding device, where brake mechanism brakes rotating motion of winding device in unwinding direction
The cable winder has a winding device (1) for winding and unwinding of a cable (3) e.g. coaxial cable, running through a housing (18). The cable is rotatably held in the winding and unwinding direction in a swivelable manner against the housing. A height adjusting mechanism for height adjustment of an object e.g. light, is suspended at the cable. The height adjustment mechanism has a brake mechanism (15) coupled with the winding device, where the brake mechanism brakes the rotating motion of the winding device in an unwinding direction.
