Discharge device for aircraft`s sanitary basin, has valve automatically opening and closing main drainage during requests and omission of hydrostatic pressure, respectively, and safety overflow port drained into separate drainage system
The device has a valve (7) lying downstream from a junction of an overflow pipeline (6) into a discharge pipeline (13) that is attached at a main drainage (12) and guided into external atmosphere. The valve automatically opens and closes the main drainage during requests and omission of a hydrostatic pressure, respectively, for equalizing pressure between the atmosphere and an aircraft cabin. A safety overflow port (5) is drained into a separate drainage system (17). The valve has a hand-operated operating unit (9), by which the valve is operated from a closed position into an open position.
