Modern integrated circuit e.g. modern system on chip, for use in controller, has interface module connected with signal lines for transmission of data of different content categories with test interface
The circuit has an arithmetic and logic unit for processing of data stored in a data memory. A test interface is provided for writing data into the data memory and for reading the data from the data memory, where the test interface has a set of signal lines for sending and receiving data of different content categories. An interface module is provided with a serial interface for receiving and sending data, and is connected with the signal lines for the transmission of the data of the different content categories with the test interface. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmitting digital data of different contents categories from one station to another station.
