The set has an excitation filter (1) arranged in an illumination beam path of a microscope. A beam splitter (2) couples an excitation light into an image beam path. An emission filter (3) is arranged in the image beam path, with which the beam splitter is designed with a transmission area. The excitation filter is used with a higher transmission and a steep edge in the transmission area, and with smaller requirements at an optical density in a restricted area, by adjusting LED-BASED microscope illumination.
