Motor vehicle`s navigation system operating method, involves receiving data information with respect to possible inconsistency during reception of updated map data at not updated map data present in memory
The method involves storing a data of a map e.g. digital map, with receipt of an updated map data in a memory (101). The data information with respect to possible inconsistency is received during reception of the updated map data at a not updated map data present in the memory. The not updated map data is stored in a security memory-plane during receiving of the data information. The updated map data in the memory is transferred to a working plane. An independent claim is also included for a navigation system comprising a memory.
