Exhaust air cleaning method e.g. for cleaning odor-loaded air emission from dust, fungus, involves providing pollutant-loaded exhaust air in two component flows such as high pollutant and low pollutant exhaust air stream
The method involves providing a pollutant-loaded exhaust air in two component flows, i.e. a high pollutant and a low pollutant exhaust air stream (3). The highly loaded exhaust air stream (4) is submitted to stationary fluidized-bed combustion (SWSF) for a first thermal treatment. The hot exhaust gas stream is supplied from the SWSF as a cyclone (8) and low pollutant and dirty untreated exhaust air stream is mixed with the exhaust gas stream from the SWSF and brought to the thermal oxidation. The loaded untreated exhaust air stream is preheated with heat from the exhaust gas stream (5). An independent claim is included for a mechanism.
