The method involves utilizing heat or cool or flow energy from a heat carrier on a differential pressure drive (24) for a heat pump (25) or a compressor (8) of the differential pressure drive. The flow energy is converted into mechanical (19) or electrical (18) energy by a flow drive, a generator and a mechanical clutch, and the mechanical or electrical energy from a differential pressure system is used for a heat pump or a cooling system.
