The plate has inlet channels (1), outlet channels (4) and a flow field (3) enclosed by a circulating groove, into which an elastic sealing compound is brought after manufacturing the plate. A cross section of the channels is broader in a flow direction (13), and side walls of the channels obtain a contour. The neighboring/adjacent channels of a side of the plate are streamed in an opposite direction, where fuel and oxide flow in the opposite direction.
