System for controlling the dynamics of vehicle movement of a two-track vehicle determines the mass moment of inertia of the vehicle by determining the current yawing moment through the formation of a moment equilibrium, derived from the wheel forces measured especially in the wheel bearings, about the vehicle vertical axis running through the vehicle center of gravity and dividing the yawing moment by the measured yaw acceleration or the yaw acceleration obtained from a temporal derivation of the measured yaw rate. Preferred Features: Each driving situation is analyzed by observing the wheel forces and understeer or oversteer is selected preferably on consideration of the floating angle.
