The container has a base plate (2) exhibiting a recess (6) that is open in a circumferential direction. A superstructure (10) is arranged on a side of the base plate, where the superstructure partially encloses a receiving space (11). An insertion plate (14) is retractable into the recess. Another superstructure (17) is partially received in the receiving space, where another receiving space (18) partially receives the goods to be presented. The base plate has two longitudinal bars that face each other and runs parallel to each other.
