The crank (1) consists of an axle (2) and at least one crank body (3) on the end of the axle. The crank body has an outer surface (4) for accommodating one or more bearing rings in its inner region coaxial to the rotation axis. The bearing is supported by the other, non-rotating ring (6) via the pedal bearing housing (7) so the axle is free to rotate within the housing.
