The system (1) has a detector (3) for sampling an object e.g. patient (7), and a controlling and computing unit (10) provided for processing data determined through the sampling. A visual representation unit is provided for visual representation of tomography image data of the sampled object with an image resolution. The unit has an addressing representation function for marking a partial area of the visual representation and represents the partial area in high image resolution. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for visualization of tomography representation in a tomography system (2) a storage medium integrated into a computing unit.
