Soft trim production method for producing an upper part with a decorative cover forms a soft trim for motor vehicle interiors by linking two decorative tailored sections
A decorative cover is placed on a tool plate (5). A carrier part tailored section is placed on a working plate (3). Holding slides (21,22) on the tool plate move so as to hold decorative tailored sections near a functional seam. A turn-over slider forms a turn-over with seam lugs. The tool plate swivels with the turn-over slider onto a second half (9) of the working plate. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing an upper part with a decorative cover to form a soft trim for motor vehicle interiors by linking two decorative tailored sections.
