Adjusting device (10) comprises an axially moving eccentric disk (16) facing away from the support surface (12) of a further eccentric disk (14). Both lifting plates are prevented from twisting and an intermediate rotating disk (20) rotating via rolling bodies (18) is arranged between the eccentric disk. The rotating disk has ramp-like tracks (22) assigned to each rolling body so that the eccentric disks follow a movement opposing the axial direction when the rotating disk is rotated and the rolling bodies are rolled. Preferred Features: The rolling bodies are uniformly arranged between the rotating disk and the eccentric disks in the peripheral direction of the rotating disk. The rotating disk is driven by an electric motor.
