The device has a harness with a holding device (10) fixable at a dog body for a replaceable collecting bag (42) for dog excrement, where the holding device is adjustable to the size of the body and/or the posture of a dog. A holding frame (44) is fixed at the dog`s body and a carrier frame, and a supporting frame (46) for the collecting bag adjustable against the holding frame in different angular positions. A supporting device (80) consists of several plastic bristles.
