New metal complex useful as catalyst for organic coupling reactions e.g. Heck- and Suzuki- coupling, carbon-carbon activation reactions of e.g. alkanes and (hetero)aromatics, and for amination- and olefin-metathesis reactions
Metal complex (I), is new. Metal complex (I) of formula Lx(M-(CHT)y)z, is new. L : monodentate or multidentate ligand; M : complex forming metal- atom or ion having oxidation state of 0 to +8; CHT : cycloheptatrienylidene (optionally substituted); x : 0-7; and y, z : 1-4. Where cations or anions are optionally present for charge balancing.
