Embedded systems operating method for use in motor vehicle, involves transmitting diagnosis signal to embedded system during variation of confidential value of another signal, where diagnosis signal includes confidential value information
The method involves transmitting a signal (12) as user data in a frame from an embedded system (3) to an embedded system (3`), and determining a confidential value for the signal (12) from the embedded system (3). A diagnosis signal (12`) assigned to the signal (12) and provided as diagnosis data in a frame is transmitted to another embedded system (3`) during variation of confidential value, where the diagnosis signal is referred as diagnosis data frame. The diagnosis signal (12`) includes confidential value information for the signal (12). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an embedded system that is combined with another embedded system via a data communication network in a motor vehicle (2) an integrated functional system of a motor vehicle (3) a motor vehicle with an integrated functional system.
