Vectorial network analyzer for measuring scattering parameters of measuring objects, has measuring receiver receiving excitation signal or measuring signals , and switching devices switching receiver between signal generator and gates
The analyzer has measuring gates for measuring n-gate measuring objects (315), and a signal generator (300) to generate an excitation signal. A measuring receiver (320) is provided to receive the excitation signal or measuring signals that are reflected or transmitted by the measuring object. Switching devices (317, 319) are provided to switch the receiver between the signal generator and the gates of the measuring objects. The generator has a mixer that converts the excitation signal from an intermediate frequency level into the measuring frequency level.
