Method for warning of subsequent vehicle in group of several vehicles involves determination of middle vehicle from front distance and front relative velocity between ahead traveling vehicle and middle vehicle
Method involves transfer of warning (W,W1,W2) from ahead traveling vehicle (1) to subsequent vehicle (3). The middle vehicle (2) is determined from front distance (d21) and front relative velocity (v21) between traveling vehicle and middle vehicle if the front impact of the middle vehicle is menace on the ahead traveling vehicle. A warning is transferred to subsequent vehicle during identification of menaced front impact. An independent claim is also included for the device for execution of the method.
