Clothes clamping element (1) has two parallel limbs (10,11), and a connecting limb (9), and one is formed as protective edge for a clothing piece. The flat limbs are so formed that they are clampable under elastic spring tension in a clothing piece range, like a trouser waistband, a shirt sleeve, a pocket, as well as one of the flat limbs is provided as an internal limb other than the external and the limb is visible from outside. An independent claim is included for application of clothes clamping element.
