Preparation of molded article (A), from plastic with mineral properties by applying a base mold (1), comprises partially providing the base mold with a first layer (2) from a powdered mineral, covering the first layer with at least a second layer (3a, 1a) from a viscously prepared mixture containing a liquid duro- or thermoplastic material, a thickener and calcium carbonate powder or glass micro-beads, mixing the second layer with a hardener and an accelerator, subjecting the mixture to thermosetting, and providing the free surface of the second layer with a third layer (4) from a laminate. Preparation of molded article (A), from plastic with mineral properties by applying a base mold (1), comprises at least partially providing the base mold with a first layer (2) from a powdered mineral, covering the first layer with at least a second layer (3a, 3b) from a viscously prepared mixture containing a liquid duro- or thermoplastic material, a thickener and calcium carbonate powder or glass micro-beads, mixing the second layer with a hardener and an accelerator before applying on the first layer, subjecting the mixture to thermosetting after applying on the first layer, providing the free surface of the second layer with a third layer (4) from a laminate and obtaining (A) from the mold.
