The laser scanner includes two laser mechanisms, one used as a phase shift measuring system and other as a pulse run time measuring system. Each of the measuring systems preferably uses a common electro optical transmitter and receiver, and is assigned with a deflecting system. An independent claim is also included for a three dimensional scanning method.
