Flushing gas`s e.g. nitrogen, pressure measurement device for use in e.g. metallurgical melting furnace, has pressure sensor that is connected with exhaust channel by outlet port for determining pressure prevalent in exhaust channel
The device has a pressure sensor (2) that is surrounded by a cover (3) through which a flushing gas is passed, where the cover is formed as tubular. The cover has an inlet port (4) for the flushing gas connected with a flushing gas reservoir and an outlet port (5) for the flushing gas. The pressure sensor is connected with an exhaust channel (1) by the outlet port for determining the pressure prevalent in the chamber or in the pipe. A cooling unit cooling the cover is provided in the cover and is designed as a water conducting cooling pipe line. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for pressure measurement with a pressure sensor (2) a melting furnace with a furnace chamber.
