The method involves connecting controllers with an electrical system of a vehicle by a system data bus, where the controllers have a data bus connection. Information is received by the controllers by the connection during the operation of the controllers and is exchanged over the bus, where the bus is a clock-controlled data bus. A mutual information exchange is enabled between the controllers in each clock by the data bus. An independent claim is also included for an electrical system of a vehicle.
