Digital image`s texture identical areas detecting and measuring method for e.g. tumor, involves finely differentiating areas of identical texture of image by determined pixel with volatile changes of cumulative characteristics variable
The method involves evaluating a random characteristic of a pixel of a digital image relative to volatile changes of the characteristics, and roughly differentiating areas of interest of identical texture by the detected pixel with the changes of the characteristics. Two characteristics of a set of pixels are assessed for forming a cumulative characteristic variable of the pixels, and the variable is evaluated relative to the changes. The areas of identical texture are finely differentiated by the determined pixel with the changes of the variable. An independent claim is also included for a device for detecting and measuring size of areas of identical texture of a digital image.
