Method for deactivating safety measures e.g. warning flasher, for vehicle, relies on gathered vehicle-assigned variable e.g. angle of roll, steering angle, and deactivation and activation criteria
A controller (1) gathers vehicle-assigned variables e.g. angle of roll, steering angle, yaw angle, transverse acceleration, tire slip, and deactivates any of the safety measures based on the gathered variables and deactivation and activation criteria. The deactivation/activation criteria determines which of the safety measures e.g. seatbelt, window or sunroof latch, is to be deactivated or activated. An independent claim is also included for a device for deactivating vehicle safety measures.
