Model vehicle has sensor for scanning a guide track and a control for steering vehicle outside of track and a switch mechanism to govern steering mechanism through sensor or control
the model vehicle has a sensor (31) and steering mechanism (3) for moving along a guided track (4). A control (1) is provided on the vehicle for steering it outside of the track which is scanned by the sensor and a switch mechanism (2,21) is provided so that the steering mechanism can be governed optionally by the sensor or by the control. The sensor is designed to interact with the track through magnetic forces. The steering mechanism has a wheel axle with wheels (33). The wheel axle can turn in a plane parallel to the plane of the track whilst the sensor is attached at a distance perpendicular to the wheel axle. The control can be connected to a computer or remote control receiver.
